About the Legend of the Yellow Rose
Our resort is named for a beautiful young woman, called the Yellow Rose by historians, who kept Mexican General Antonio López de Santa Anna distracted long enough for Sam Houston’s Texian Army to be victorious in the battle of San Jacinto.
